World’s first AI powered grill

The Seergrills Perfecta, unveiled at CES 2024, is the "world's first AI powered grill," a marked contrast to traditional grilling methods. Priced at $3,500 (with a $1,000 pre-order discount), it features innovative technology like dual vertical infrared burners, achieving temperatures up to 1,652° F for 360° cooking without flipping the food. This allows it to cook a ribeye steak in 90 seconds and chicken breasts in 2.5 minutes.

Its AI utilizes a quad-core processor and smart sensors to measure food thickness and temperature, adjusting cooking settings via a touchscreen interface. The Perfecta also has an app for setting preferences and rating meals, aiding the AI's learning process.

PennsylvaniaGPT

Pennsylvania has become the first state to implement ChatGPT Enterprise, as announced by Governor Josh Shapiro. This pilot program, a collaboration with OpenAI, will see state employees using ChatGPT Enterprise to assist in various tasks such as creating and editing copy, updating policy language, drafting job descriptions, and generating code. This initiative aims to leverage the advantages of generative AI while addressing potential risks.

The tool will be initially used by a select group of government employees, with plans to expand its use across different sectors of the state government. However, the program is designed so that citizens won't interact directly with ChatGPT. The partnership with OpenAI is expected to provide insights into how AI tools can responsibly improve state services.
