Stability AI Releases Text-to-Animation

Stability AI has introduced the Stable Animation SDK. This tool enables artists and developers to utilize advanced Stable Diffusion models in order to generate animations. Users can create animations using prompts, source images, or source videos. The animation endpoint provided by Stability AI allows artists to access various Stable Diffusion models, including Stable Diffusion 2.0 and Stable Diffusion XL, for animation generation. The SDK offers three methods for animation creation: text-to-animation, text input with an initial image, and input video with text input. These options allow users to produce dynamic animations by manipulating different parameters.

Coca-Cola “Create Real Magic” AI App

Coca-Cola has collaborated with OpenAI and Bain & Company to create "Create Real Magic," an AI platform that combines GPT-4 and DALL-E. It allows digital creatives worldwide to generate original artwork using iconic assets from the Coca-Cola archives. Artists can experiment with AI-powered tools and enter a contest for a chance to be featured on digital billboards in New York and London. The collaboration aims to enhance marketing efforts and explore the potential of AI technology. The initiative promotes co-creation and democratizes Coca-Cola's brand assets. Four AI artists have already contributed, and selected creators will attend a workshop at Coca-Cola's headquarters to co-create content for merchandising and digital collectibles.

Not the most interesting AI app but I like that brands are looking to tap into the AI hype with creative ideas.

Claude’s 100K Context Windows

Anthropic has expanded the context window of their AI model Claude from 9,000 tokens to 100,000 tokens, equivalent to about 75,000 words. This allows anyone to submit extensive materials for analysis, and conversations with Claude can now last for hours or even days. While an average person takes several hours to read and comprehend 100,000 tokens of text, Claude can do it in less than a minute. It can also retrieve information and provide synthesized knowledge from multiple documents, making it a valuable tool for tasks such as analyzing financial statements, assessing legislation, and exploring legal documents. The 100K context windows feature is now available in the API, and users can find more information on how to access it through OpenAI's resources.

This is big news..mind blowing news..as these context windows get larger so much more will be possible.

If you want to experiment with Anthropic’s fastest model, with an increased context window of 100k tokens (around 75,000 words) one option is Poe.com. Since this is an experimental early access model, usage is currently limited to 100 messages per month for Poe subscribers (subject to change).

ChatGPT Plugins Rolling Out

Google throws a punch….OpenAI throws a counter punch….

With Google updating Bard and other AI apps last week OpenAI had to make a move, so they are now removing the waitlist and rolling out more than 70 ChatGPT plugins including Internet access. Users can enable these plugins to get more functions like shopping, searching, and even loading a PDF into the chat. But, you can only use three plugins at once. This is part of a big competition among companies like Google and Microsoft to make the best chatbot platform. The new features make the chatbots more capable, and this could change how we use the Internet, with more tasks being done through chatbots instead of visiting websites.
